High
in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado are three "parks", flat valleys of
vast grasslands, sagebrush and beauty. In the center is Middle Park.
Located 90 minutes NW of Denver the town of Granby is in the midst of
the splendor of Middle Park. This is the setting for the 2nd Annual
Middle Park Half Marathon on July 7th at 8:00am. This course is
destined to become an instant classic; not only for its scenery but for
its challenging but fast layout.
You may be daunted by the fact
that Granby is 7,800' above sea level. But, take into mind that in July
the Middle Park valley tends to be 15-20 degrees cooler than Denver.
Come up to Granby and take part in a race that will become a yearly event on your racing calendar.
